Cheese Dip

Cheese Dip 

1 heaping teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon dry mustard

1 teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon minced garlic

½ stick margarine

4 tablespoons flour

2 cups milk

1 tablespoon catsup

16 ounces Mexican Velveeta cheese (cut in cubes) 

Mix the spices together in a small bowl.  In a large double boiler or saucepan, melt the margarine over low heat.  Add the flour and stir well.  DO NOT BROWN THE FLOUR!  Add the milk, stir well, add spices and catsup and stir well.  Add cheese.  Stir until completely blended.  Cook and stir constantly over low heat until thickened.
